What to Expect at Lessons

Here are a few things that help lessons run smoothly and support student progress:

Come Prepared
Students should bring all their materials: books, binder, and any homework.
Be On Time
Lessons begin and end on schedule. If you’re running late, just send a quick message.
Practice Between Lessons
A little practice goes a long way! Aim for 4–5 days a week, even if it’s just 10–15 minutes.
Ask Questions
Students and parents are always welcome to ask questions during or after lessons. I want everyone to feel confident and supported.
Stay Involved
Parents are encouraged to check in regularly — I’ll occasionally send short notes or videos to help with practice at home.

Policy Highlights

Here are a few important things to know. A full policy document is shared after registration and available anytime by request.

💳 Payment
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month (September–June). Invoices are sent automatically a few days in advance.
📚 Books
Book charges are billed separately and due within 14 days of receipt.
❌ Missed Lessons
No make-up lessons are offered for missed or cancelled lessons. Your lesson time is reserved just for you.
🕒 Late Arrivals
Lessons end at the scheduled time. If a student is more than 10 minutes late, the lesson may be cancelled.
📅 Withdrawals
If you need to discontinue lessons mid-year, one month’s notice is required. A cancellation fee equal to one month’s tuition will apply.
📸 Photo & Video
I occasionally share photos or short videos on social media. You’ll receive a release form at registration, and participation is optional.

Important Dates & Breaks

2025/26 Lesson Schedule

Lessons Start: September 8

No Lessons On:

October 11–17 – Thanksgiving Week
November 18-22 – No Lessons (Monday not affected)
December 22–January 3 – Christmas Break
February 16 – Monday only (Family Day)
March 16–21 – March Break
May 18 – Monday only (Victoria Day)

End-of-Year Group Lesson:
Instead of regular lessons during the final week (June 15–20), each student will attend one group lesson. Dates and times will be announced closer to the end of the year.
